Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) rescued a baby that was left lying inside a garbage container located at the entrance to Barrio Zamora, Intercommunal Avenue in El Valle, Caracas.

The procedure took place during the early hours of this Thursday as a result of a neighborhood alert received by the PNB, according to information aired on Instagram by the director of that security agency, Elio Estrada Paredes.

The creature was transferred to the “Hugo Chávez” Maternity and Childhood Hospital where they checked it and found it in perfect health, weighing 3 kilos 200 grams, Estrada Paredes said.

“This police work is actions that identify our officials with their people. We will win”, wrote the director of the PNB.
