The head of the Board of Directors, Maria del Carmen Alva, summoned for this Tuesday, May 3, the parliamentarians for a plenary session of the Congress of the republic, which will take place from 3:00 p.m. Legislators must participate in person, as points out the call issued from the Legislative Palace.
The summons was sent from the Major Office of the Congress to all parliamentarians and has the signature of official Hugo Rovira. The call was also made for the sessions on Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5; these last two to be held from 10.00 am.
After the last session of the Work Commission, the opinion that authorizes the optional withdrawal was approved up to an amount of 4 UIT or S/ 18,400 from the Private Pension Fund Administration System (AFP). According to the agenda of the Parliament, the project would go to the Plenary to be put to a vote this Tuesday.

Session after presentation of Aníbal Torres before the Constitution Commission
Earlier, the President of the Council of Ministers, Hannibal Torres, appeared before the Constitution Commission to support the project sent by the Executive to the Congresswhose purpose is to promote a popular consultation via referendum to the population on whether or not they would agree to convene a constituent assembly for a new constitution.
After its presentation, the project for the constituent assembly is analyzed and debated in said parliamentary group and for this, experts in constitutional law such as César Delgado Guembes, Óscar Urviola, Samuel Abad and Delia Muñoz were summoned.
