The President of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Danilo Medina, yesterday formalized the call to the members of the Central Committee to choose the members of that body that will make up the National Court of Discipline and Ethics.
Hours after the press conference led by Secretary General Charles Mariotti reporting on the steps to integrate the National Court of Discipline and Ethics, Danilo Medina, proceeded to sign the document formalizing the call.
“The entire Central Committee membership is urged to massively participate in the election of the members of this important Party body whose attributions seek to safeguard the Party’s Discipline and Ethics; as established in the Statutes”signs the former President of the Republic in the document that will be sent to the members of the Central Committee, the highest instance of the Party after its Congress.
At the press conference, Charles Mariotti announced that he was waiting for the President of the PLD, Danilo Medina, to formalize the call for the Central Committee to meet in an extraordinary manner for the integration of the Disciplinary and Ethics Tribunal, a step he took by signing the document of the summons.
