Placid start for Djokovic and Medvedev, Bautista beats Rublev

The Serbian Novak Djokovic and the Russian Daniil Medvedev, first and third seeded at the Adelaide tournament, had a pleasant start with both victories over the Frenchman Constant Lestienne and the Italian Lorenzo Sonego, who withdrew.
