For diesel A, the average sale price for distributors also drops, from R$ 4.10 to R$ 4.02 per liter, with a drop of R$ 0.08 per liter. The information was released this Tuesday (28), by the company.
Considering the mandatory blend of 73% A gasoline and 27% anhydrous ethanol for the composition of gasoline sold at service stations, Petrobras’ share in the consumer price will be an average of R$ 2.32 for each liter sold at the pump. As for diesel, considering the mandatory blend of 90% diesel A and 10% biodiesel for the composition of diesel sold at service stations, Petrobras’ share in the consumer price will be, on average, R$ 3.62 for each liter sold at the pump, explained the company.
In a note, Petrobras informs that the objective of the reductions is to seek the balance of the company’s prices for the national and international markets, through a gradual convergence, including the main supply alternatives for its customers and the necessary market share for “optimization of the active”.
The company also says that, in the formation of prices for oil and natural gas derivatives in the domestic market, it seeks to “avoid the pass-through of the conjunctural volatility of quotations and the exchange rate, while preserving a healthy competitive environment under the terms of the current legislation ”.
