The Casa de Nariño announced that Petro and Ripe They will hold a new extraordinary meeting. The meeting of both leaders is expected to take place in the early hours of the afternoon.
Until now, the agenda for the meeting between Petro and Maduro has not been announced, but according to information from the W Radius, It is expected that they address the intelligence agreements of the Military Forces that are put into service to combat transnational crime that affects both countries.
This Saturday, the Colombian ambassador in Venezuela, Armando Benedetti, reported through his Twitter account: “Today will be the second visit made by President Gustavo Petro to Caracas after relations between Colombia and Venezuela were restored. I will be accompanying him, with the conviction of continuing to work for a common agenda between two sister nations.”

In the first meeting in Caracas, Petro and Maduro talked about the bilateral relationship, the reintegration of Venezuela into the inter-American human rights systems and the expansion of trade that had been suspended by land since 2019.
Miraflores then reported that they also discussed dignifying migration, “both for Colombians in Venezuela, of which there are millions, and for Venezuelans in Colombia.”
Petro, for his part, maintained that there are other issues on the table that are more related to “a more American agenda,” such as the issue of the Amazon jungle, the issue of the democratic construction of America, with the political changes that “should consist of strengthening the Inter-American Human Rights System”.
Petro and Maduro also held a meeting in November of last year, in Egypt in the middle of COP26, where the presidents talked about the approach of Venezuela and Colombia to save the Amazon jungle on this side of the world.
