During the last few days, there has been a discussion about the national crash plan against hunger, which intends to give a bonus to help mothers head of family in extreme poverty.
In this way, the president Gustavo Petro confirmed this morning how the project will work and spoke about the benefits it will have, also he did not hesitate to applaud his management in comparison with other governments.
Nearly 2 million households will have the possibility of receiving said bonus 500 thousand pesos from December 7, and can be claimed throughout the month.

“It changes the philosophy of the transfers of the previous governments. We don’t give alms, we get out of poverty. Over time, the transfer will be maintained if there is a study and production,” Petro said.
According to the director of the Department of Social Prosperity, Cielo Rusinque, the beneficiaries of these upcoming payments will be mainly female leaders of group A of Sisbén, as well as 324 thousand families thatthat they did not receive any benefits from the State and that they are in vulnerable situations.
