President Gustavo Petro announced that he will return to the country this Saturday to address the crisis of the southwestwho is incommunicado.
“I convened an extraordinary Council of Ministers in Ipiales, Nariño, to address the situation in the southwestern part of the country. I return immediately to Colombia”he wrote on his social networks.

Thus, the ministers of Petro must travel this Saturday to the capital of Narino to be aware of the arrival of the president.

The south of the country has been affected by blockage of the Pan-American Highwayin Cauca, which has generated shortage problems, mainly of food and fuel.

Petro should arrive tonight Saturday and it is not ruled out that he immediately travel to Pasto to take on the situation.
