The Ministry of Energy and Mines published the resolution officially appointing Isabel Tafur Marín as president of Perupetro’s board of directors, a position that had been vacant since January of this year.
The supreme resolution 017-2022-EM published on October 29 in the legal regulations bulletin of El Peruano bears the signatures of the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo; and the Minister of Energy and Mines, Alessandra Herrera Jara.
The text appoints Isabel Mercedes Tafur Marín as president of Perupetro’s Board of Directors, a position that has been vacant since January of this year, when former congressman Daniel Salavarry resigned amid questions about his experience in the sector.
With the appointment of Tafur Marín, the board of directors is made up of José Balta Chirinos, Carlos Casas Tragodara and Luis Fernando Ruiz Lecaros.
