The Doubled March Bonus, also known as Permanent Family Contribution, is a monetary subsidy granted by the Government of Chile to households that meet the established requirements. Initially, the bond was worth $60,000, but thanks to a bill, President Gabriel Boric announced that it would double to $120,000.
This change began to be implemented in April of this year, after being approved in Congress, and it is estimated that it will benefit 1.6 million households in the country. It is important to be informed about the details in order to collect it and meet the necessary requirements, information that you can access with your RUT.
If you want to verify if you are a beneficiary of the Duplicate March Bonus, you can go to the website of the Social Welfare Institute and enter your RUT and date of birth. You can also access the Permanent Family Contribution page to obtain more information and answer any questions you may have on the subject.
This bonus will be delivered to those people who have already received the Permanent Family Contribution, formerly known as Bono Marzo, as well as other beneficiaries of government economic programs. Among the groups benefited are those who receive Family or Maternal Allowance for their family responsibilities, people who receive Family Allowance, and families belonging to the Security and Opportunities Subsystem (Family Ethical Income) or Chile Solidario. Each group will receive an extraordinary contribution of $60,000 per family load, cause of subsidy or family, respectively.
The payment of Permanent Family Contribution It began at the end of March and it is important to note that it is not necessary to apply to receive it, since the payment is made automatically to those who have already received the first payment. According to the Minister of Labor, Jeannette Jara, 96% of the beneficiaries will be able to collect the bonus through their RUT Account, while the remaining group will have to go to the place where they usually collect other bonuses.
