“Edson Arantes do Nascimento was discharged from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein this Thursday, April 21, 2022. The patient is in good and stable clinical condition”, says the note released by the health institution.

In February of this year Pelé was admitted to the same Albert Einstein hospital to perform a battery of routine exams. At that time, he was treated for a urinary tract infection.

In September 2021, the King of Football underwent surgery to remove the tumor in his colon. At the time, he was hospitalized for almost a month, staying part of the period in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
