Minutes before noon, Pedro Castillo announced the illegal dissolution of Congress and ordered the reorganization of the justice system.

Despite the fact that the coup leader ordered a curfew, neither the Armed Forces nor the Police complied with that order. And Parliament vacated him from office moments later.
