Castillo on regional and municipal elections: “There will be no government interference”
The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, assured that his Government will have no interference in the 2022 regional and municipal elections, which will be held on October 2. The president spoke about the electoral elections when he was participating in an executive meeting with district mayors and mayors, at the Lima Convention Center, located in the San Borja district.
“In this electoral process, on the part of the Government there will be no interference or meddling. We will be one hundred percent neutral and respectful of the will of each of the peoples who will re-elect their mayors and regional governors, so that these authorities are the authentic voice of that people who cry out to be attended to”, he mentioned.
