Pedro Castillo: “Citizens will express without fear if they want a new Constitution”
Within the framework of the VII Decentralized Council of Ministers in the Vraem, President Pedro Castillo affirmed that it is up to Congress to respect the decision of the people regarding the bill that, if approved by Congress, would allow the call for a national assembly.
“There, the citizen will express himself freely, without any blackmail, without any fear, whether or not he wants a new Constitution. In any case, it is up to the Congress of the Republic to see that the clamor of the people is accepted,” Castillo said from Samugari, province of La Mar, in Ayacucho.
At another time, the president considered the formalization of an executing unit to inject capital into this area as an immediate solution to address the needs of the Vraem. This initiative will be agreed with the leaders, mayors and governors that comprise the Vraem.
