Pedro Castillo to Elvia Barrios: “I will call a session of the Council of State in a timely manner”
The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, responded to the request of the President of the Judiciary, Elvia Barrios, to convene the session of the Council of State. The president pointed out that he will do so in a timely manner in order to lay the foundations for a Peru with basic consensus and solve regional problems.
“In this same line, we inform you that we are committed to solving regional problems, not ruling out the ‘call for a session of the Council of State,’ which will be communicated to your office in a timely manner,” says the letter sent by from Presidency.
In this letter, the head of state expressed confidence that his government will manage to overcome the crisis it is going through: “(The Executive) will overcome this new challenge, no matter how difficult it may be, and Peru will continue as a strong, fair and developed nation, for the good of this and future generations.”
