President Pedro Castillo sent an official letter to the president of Congress, Lady Camones, so that both can meet this Wednesday, August 3, at the Government Palace at 4:00 pm in order to “create spaces for consultation.”
“We invite you to hold a first meeting with the President of the Republic on Wednesday, August 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Government Palace in order to generate the spaces for consultation that you propose,” says the document that bears the signature of the still Prime Minister Aníbal Torres.
The reason for this meeting, they maintain from the Executive, is in line with Lady Camones’s request to establish a common agenda with the Government “aimed at mitigating the food crisis, promoting employment, economic reactivation, prioritizing the mining sector , agro-exporter and tourism”.
