The PCV denounced that they are currently massively suspending workers and disapplying clauses, while rejecting that the unions related to the ruling party support measures that are detrimental to Venezuelans. Pedro Eusse is confident in the success of the mobilization called for August 11 at the National Assembly
The member of the political bureau of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) and national secretary for the Labor and Trade Union Movement of that organization, Pedro Eusse, greeted and supported the new day of protests by various public administration unions that will last at least until Friday, August 12.
Eusse indicated that the PCV has been present in the struggle of the workers and the lower classes of the country for 85 years, as well as being against the “frauds and false revolutionaries who commit fraud from the dominant sectors” when applying policies that favor capital instead of protecting the rights of the people.
In his opinion, “elite pacts” are currently being applied that are harming Venezuelans, such as the salary policy of the current Executive, which has a “neoliberal character” and harms historical achievements. In this sense, he pointed out that the application of the Onapre instructions is part of a State “policy” that was launched since 2018 and that has been systematically destroying wages.
The PCV denounced that they are currently massively suspending workers and disapplying clauses that further deteriorate their quality of life, this with the aim of destroying the value of the workforce and dismantling the instruments of struggle.

He stressed that the red awning not only encourages the days of unitary protest, but also encourages workers not to be “manipulated or frightened” by spokesmen for the Executive or by the “union leaders grouped in the Central Bolivariana Socialista de Trabajadores (CBST ) who are the participants in this salary policy of destruction of rights».
He accused that they have signed agreement minutes that validate “with apparent legal formality” the achievements of workers in contractual matters, as is now the fragmentation of the vacation and recession bonus, as well as the payment of those benefits with the December salary.
He criticized that those trade union organizations related to those in power go out to demonstrate in favor of a Labor law that they themselves violate, while the PCV stresses that the success of the mobilization called for August 11 at the National Assembly and invites the private sector to join it.
He warned that the Maduro administration could have requested an additional credit to honor the commitments with the workers but it did not do so, but rather, according to his opinion, it gives resources to some to “satisfy the parasitic economy” of imports and added that until July 21 of 2022, 2,115 million dollars were given for it.
