Collaborators and support staff: the most requested job profile

A labor monitor prepared by the consulting firm Advice revealed that the demand for jobs had a reduction in applications for the second consecutive month. In the breakdown of the most sought-after job profiles, that of the collaborators and support staff.

The document indicated that in July of this year there was a decrease in the labor demand of 5% compared to June and was the second consecutive month to fall.

The monitor revealed that in July the demand for these positions stood at 37% of the total, with an increase of 4% compared to the previous month and 34% in the year-on-year comparison. The activities that had the most job applications were trade, logistics and administration. In the breakdown of the most required profiles, technicians, professionals, intermediate leaders and senior management were located.

Regarding geographical areas, except for Montevideo, Canelones was the department that demanded the most jobs in July, followed by Maldonado and Salto in third place.
