Paulistão: Palmeiras beats Santo André and isolates itself as leader of Group C

Playing at home, at Arena Allianz Parque, in front of 20,723 fans, Palmeiras beat Santo André 1-0, for the eighth round of the first phase of the Paulista Championship. The first stage started with the visitors scaring. In a kick from outside the area, Dudu Vieira forces goalkeeper Weverton to palm over the crossbar.
