The congresswoman Patricia Chirinos presented a motion for the agenda so that the Defense Commission of Congress is empowered to investigate alleged irregularities in the budget assigned to the High Complexity Crime Investigation Division (Diviac).

“Grant investigative commission powers to the National Defense, Internal Order, Alternative Development and Anti-Drugs Commission to investigate alleged irregularities in the budget allocated to the Diviac from 2019 to the present with the objective of determining political, civil, criminal and administrative responsibilities of those involved,” the document indicates.
The motion states that “the commission will take necessary measures and provide concrete recommendations to prevent future irregularities.”
Minister attacks
