Gabriela Godoy, a patriarchal supporter, is seeking a seat representing the department of Cordillera in the next general elections. In addition, she will give her political support to the Colorado Party.
“I have accompanied Patria Querida from the beginning, but we have not reached our objective of taking Sebastián Villarejo to the Presidency of the Republic, in this line it is that I am determined to accompany the candidacy of Denis Lichi in Cordillera, because PPQ does not He has a candidate for governor there.” Godoy explained in an interview with Gen-Nación Media.

He clarified that the decision was made, without leaving the discipline and the axes of Patria Querida. He considered that, although the ANR did not seem to be of his political line, on this occasion there was an openness that made them converge on various thematic aspects, forgetting the political factions.

Godoy assured that no one pressured her to take this step, however, she said that she did receive moral pressure and accusations from her peerswho did not accept his democratic decision.
Patria Querida, from its Cordillera leadership team, issued a statement in which it regrets and does not share Godoy’s adherence to any individuality of the ANR.
