Paraguay and Japan agree to improve trade and investment

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Julio César Arriola, received the Japanese Ambassador to Paraguay, Yoshie Nakatani Otsuka, on which occasion the Ambassador extended the congratulations of his Government to the National Foreign Minister for his recent appointment, as well as for the celebrations of national dates.

During the meeting, they discussed the main issues on the bilateral agenda, emphasizing the issues of cooperation for development, economic-commercial relations and participation in international organizations.

Likewise, they highlighted the excellent level of the bilateral relationship, based on shared principles, values ​​and interests, while analyzing issues of common interest in the global hemispheric sphere.

Both authorities agreed to deepen and diversify trade and investment, with a view to a post-pandemic economic recovery.
