Panama reports 99 positive cases and 28 patients in ICU due to Covid-19

The Ministry of Health in its epidemiological report for this Thursday, November 11, counts 99 new positive cases for a cumulative total of 474,002.

The number of recovered patients to date amounts to 465,082, while 3,520 new tests were applied, which maintains a positivity rate of 2.8%.

In the last 24 hours, no deaths have been reported, for a cumulative total of 7,338 deaths.

Active cases total 1,582, while 1,451 are reported in home isolation and 77 patients are in hospital hotels.

The hospitalized total 103 patients and 28 in the intensive care room.

The Ministry of Health reminds the population not to lower their guard and continue to apply biosecurity measures such as the use of a mask, alcohol gel, easy screen in public passenger transport, hand washing, physical distancing and use of alcohol.
