Panama registers 258 new cases of Covid-19, 2 deaths and 466,080 recovered

The Report of the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), revealed that this Saturday, November 20, in the world there are 256,946,728 accumulated confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 5,144,680 deaths for a lethality of 2%.

In Panama, 475,835 accumulated cases are reported, of which 258 are new. In the last 24 hours, two people died for an accumulated total of 7,352 deaths with a fatality of 1.5%.

Those recovered add up to a total of 466,080, of which 97 were declared this Saturday as recovered from the disease; in addition, in the last 24 hours, 6,496 tests were applied for a positivity of 3.9%.

Active cases amount to 2,403, of which 2,287 are in home isolation and 116 hospitalized. Those who are in home isolation are divided into 2,204 at home and 83 in hotels, while those hospitalized are 94 in wards and 22 in ICU.
