PAMI signed a joint agreement with the union UTHGRA (Union of Tourism, Hotel and Gastronomy Workers of the Argentine Republic), so that retired men and women can access gastronomy courses.
The workshops will be offered to all members of social work completely free of charge, since PAMI seeks to provide its users with permanent training in different areas.
In this way, the agreement signed by PAMI establishes: “the guild contributes its experience and knowledge in terms of education and training for the development of the courses and provides both the necessary materials and the contents”.
In this regard, the executive director of the social work, Luana Volnovich, pointed out: “For PAMIthe signing of this agreement is good news because the training of older adults strengthens the active old age policy that we promote from the institute”.
At the time he explained: “the courses may have two formats: intensive and basic.” The first consists of eight classes of three and a half theoretical and practical hours; while the basic one will last four classes of two hours, once a week.
Those who complete the course will receive certificates of attendance from UTHGRA. On the other hand, PAMI signed an agreement with the Single Union of Lifeguards and Related of the Argentine Republic (SUGARA) to teach CPR courses.

How to enroll in courses
The affiliates of social work who are interested in taking any of the courses, must register through the web portal of PAMI. There, they must fill in their personal and contact information.
Once the registration is completed, the user will receive a registration confirmation notification at the registered email. The workshops can be held at all union headquarters in the country.
