Pacifying My Neighborhood will arrive in Coclé to get weapons off the streets

After the end of Holy Week, in April, the Ministry of Security will transfer the preventive program “Pacifying My Neighborhood” to the province of Coclé, as reported by Minister Juan Manuel Pino after completing a coordination meeting with the Governor of the province of Cocle, Julio Palacios.

The Minister of Public Security, Juan Manuel Pino, pointed out that the “Pacifying My Neighborhood” program is part of the strategy to get Guns off the street.

“We have developed this project with good results in five provinces, where more than a thousand firearms have been removed with an investment of 368 thousand 276 with 95 in redeemable vouchers in supermarkets and pharmacies,” said Pino.

For his part, the Governor of the province of Coclé, Julio Palacios, indicated that the implementation of this project strengthens citizen peace and security in the communities of the province.
