Overcoming is a priority for Inder, assures its President

The priority that overcoming demands to respond to the many challenges of the sector was highlighted today in Matanzas by the president of Inder, Osvaldo Vento Montiller, on the first day of his organization’s visits to all the country’s provinces.

“It is essential that we identify in detail what we need in each cloister, to better design the responses that we can have,” Luis Augusto Turcios Lima stated in a dialogue with Matanzas directors gathered at the Eide.

“It is imperative that we work on variants that motivate and meet the expectations of our teachers, in tune with the demands of contemporaneity,” he stated, and referred to the conception of master’s degrees, specialties, diplomas and other formulas adjusted to that vision.

In this sense, he called for full exploitation of the alliances with the University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences and the Ministry of Education, given the scope of the processes generated in the Inder education system, also marked by the teaching of general training subjects.

The exchange also made it possible to review other aspects of importance for the organization, including the follow-up of the sports reserve, which, according to José Antonio Miranda, general director of High Performance, now requires a different look.

He said that it is urgent to study in depth the impacts of covid-19 on the island’s athletic population, knowing that the long periods of inactivity caused by the pandemic altered the planning of loads between schoolchildren and youth, and forced to admit promotions of categories not endorsed in the competitive field.

The specialist insisted that the rigor of this work will be essential to conceive the task from the base, with the combined at the center of what is taxed from that instance to the Sports and Physical Education project, whose check, from its 35 Indicators, forms part of the agenda established for these visits.

In the afternoon, in the municipality of Unión de Reyes, the head of Inder pondered what he considered “an example of how much can be achieved when efforts are joined”, and congratulated those who have turned the April 16 baseball stadium into a reference facility between their kind.

“Its outdoor areas and the state of the land make clear the prevailing sense of belonging in the group,” said Vento, who commented that it is easy to verify the will to make the territory, which has five sports teams.

“What is not done cannot be shown, and you have a job that supports you,” he said after talking with those who pass about the limitations to maintain the vitality of gyms and other areas where 22 disciplines are practiced.

The call was not to stop the recovery and renovation of facilities, supported by the first secretary of the Party and the governor of Matanzas, Liván Izquierdo Alonso and Mario Felipe Sabines Lorenzo, respectively, who shared briefly with the visitors and the authorities of the municipality.
