Oswaldo Alanís returns to Liga MX

Oswaldo Alanís was announced as a new player of the Mazatlan. The announcement of the player’s arrival was through the club’s Twitter account, where they indicated that “The Mexican Hummels is already #ARREbatando”. The gunmen gave the news and it was a surprise for the fans.

The footballer returns to the Mexican league after playing two years in MLS with him San Jose Earthquakes. Alanís had other offers on the table from other teams outside of Mexico, could play in the Australian league. Instead, the footballer was clear that he wanted to return to the top Mexican category.

The player has played 42 games in the last two seasons where he managed to score four goals. He has not been one of the essential footballers and that is why he would have decided to leave. The Mexican has in his record a Liga MX championship in 2017 with Chivas and with Santos Laguna who achieved another title, in addition to winning the Gold Cup with the national team.
