He commented that if both issues are addressed, he will face “the accusation or accusation that is being made against me within the PRI in the organs of the party itself and surely, we will reach the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF), and I will defend my partisan rights ”.
On the possible dismissal of Osorio Chong as PRI coordinator in the Upper House, his fellow seat, Claudia Ruiz Massieu made it clear that this issue is the exclusive responsibility of the senators.
“That is up to the senators, I perceive that there is support from the parliamentary group. Personally, I totally support my coordinator Miguel Ángel Osorio and I think that there is the rest of the senators, but they are internal issues of the bench that in any case are addressed inside and in the Senate of the Republic, not in any other space ” , noted in a separate interview.
On his side, the also senator Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín opined that the issue of the removal of the former governor of Hidalgo is not on the agenda of the meeting with Moreno Cárdenas, but he did not rule out that it could be addressed.
He trusted that both parties reach an agreement and resolve their conflicts. “We can come to that (to an agreement). One would hope not, but if the postures were unrecognizable, surely an answer would have to be found,” he said.
