Optimus Prime collides with a private vehicle on the last day of recording in Cusco (VIDEO)

Optimus Prime, Scourge, Porsche and Pablo returned to Cusco to record the last scenes of Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts, before being removed from the Peruvian tracks and being transferred to Paramount Pictures warehouses in the United States.

After filming for more than 10 days in the Cusco province of La Convencion, the transformers returned to the Imperial City, where they shot the last shots on Arcopata street in the historic center.

At the site, a race between Optimus Prime, Pablo and Porsche was recorded under the watchful eye of director Steven Caple Jr. and dozens of locals and tourists who came to the scene to see the filming and say goodbye to the vehicles.

Once the scenes were finished, the units were moved towards Meloc Street, when the Optimus Prime driver miscalculated the space and collided with the private vehicle with license plate X8C-959, which was parked on the side of the road.

Faced with the fact, the transformers had to be raised to the sidewalk to be able to follow its path, while those in charge of the crashed unit reviewed the damage, mostly slight.

It is worth mentioning that it is the second time that Optimus Prime suffers an incident of this nature, previously he collided with a taxi vehicle on Educandas street, this due to the large size of the vehicle and the narrow streets in Cusco.

Finally the incident did not pass to greater and the vehicles of Transformers: The awakening of the beasts withdrew from the place to their hangar in the Industrial Park of Cusco, with these shots the recording of this North American saga in the Imperial City is finished, now the Production will move to Nazca to make other shots.
