According to him Public ministry the alleged network of Operation Squidheaded by former finance ministers, donald guerreroPublic Works, Gonzalo Castillo and administration of the Presidency, Jose Ramon Peralta would have diverted funds from the State for more than 31 billion pesos. This represents just over 50% of the amount assured by the authorities that they diverted the nets discovered in operations Anti Octopus, Jellyfish, Coral, Coral 5g and Operation 13 together.
According to the accusations of the Public Ministry, the network accused of embezzlement and corruption in the Anti-Octopus Operation defrauded the State with RD$4,796 million pesos; while the network of the Coral and Coral 5G Case would have committed fraud for an amount of around $4,500 million.

Likewise, the Public Ministry assures that the defendants in the Medusa Case defrauded the State with an approximate amount of RD$6,000 million and those of Operation 13 are accused of the theft of RD$500 million.
Similarities between operation
The sum of the amounts defrauded from the State, as revealed by the Public Ministry, amounts to RD$15,796 million pesos, which represents just over 50% of the 31 billion pesos that, according to the authorities, the members of the discovered network in Operation Squid they would have defrauded the State to use these funds in a political campaign in favor of Gonzalo Castillo, presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), and for their personal benefit.

Until now, the large cases of administrative corruption discovered by the Public Ministry continue in the courts, waiting for the stages of said processes to be completed.
Five of these six large cases of corruption belong to the administration of the former President of the Republic, Danilo Medina, except for Operation 13, which corresponds to the administration of an official of the current government of President Luis Abinader.
It is recalled that recently, the former general administrator of the National Lottery, Luis Maisichell Dicent, was acquitted of the accusations against him due to insufficient evidence.
In addition, the main defendants in the other cases such as Coral, Medusa, AntiPulpo and Squid are members of the leadership of the purple party and people very close to Danilo Medina himself to the point of having family ties with the former president.
