Opening ceremony of the Judicial Year is held in Huancavelica

With a ceremony in the courtyard of the Superior Court of Justice of Huancavelica, they began the Judicial Year 2023.

In said ceremony, the superior judge René Edgar Espinoza Avendaño assumed as president of said court, who affirmed that he will base his management on three pillars, to improve: the justice service, the administrative part and to vindicate the rights of judges and judicial workers.

On the other hand, regarding the New Criminal Procedure Code, he affirmed that the expectations promised to the population since the beginning of its operation in 2015 have not been met.

“There are several factors, many administrative staff resign and you have a month to replace them, also the tenure of the judges, is not covered in its entirety, bad practices also have an impact,” said the Huancavelican magistrate.

In the same way, he announced that it is necessary to lighten the criminal justice service so that it favors the employee.

“It is necessary that we all act with a best practice in such a way that lightening and efficiency of the criminal justice service is generated,” said Espinoza Avendaño.
