The province of Río Negro is the only region that continues to have an active focus of fire, in the town of Bariloche, the National Fire Management Service (SNMF) reported Thursday.
According to the agency’s daily report, the flames continue at the Lago Martín Complex, in Bariloche, as a result of the fire that began on December 7 as a result of lightning.
Meanwhile, in Aluminé, in the province of Neuquén; in Pilcomayo (Formosa) and in Garuhapé (Misiones) the fires continue to be “contained”.
In the rest of the Misiones province, the fires in the localities of Aristóbulo del Valle, San Vicente and Candelaria, are “controlled”, as in Tohulin (Tierra del Fuego); Junín, in San Luis and Ituzaingó, in Corrientes.
The agency also specified that the flames were “extinguished” in the Corrientes towns of Caa Catí, Santo Tomé I and II and La Cruz; The Superb, in Misiones.
