During a visit by Congressman Wilson Soto, during his week of representation, he confirmed that they still have 20 workers on the job and that it is currently only 44.52% complete.
This low number of workers on site allows the company to maintain the contract and prevent it from being terminated.
During his visit, he was only allowed to go to the administrative part of the work, where the resident and supervisor explained the status of the project and the slow progress.
“The company is responsible for restarting this important project, since the commitment made by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru was that after the provision of electrical energy, the project would be restarted in its entirety. Currently there is electricity and there is no excuse to stop working,” said Congressman Wilson Soto.
