Government maintains unchanged price of almost all fuels

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM)announced today that for the week of 23 to April 29 the price of almost all fuels will remain unchanged.

The weighted average rate for the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BanCentral) was RD$55.16. This week’s subsidy implies an investment for the State of 1,160 million pesos.

The average price of WTI on Wednesday was US$105.12 per barrel for a reduction of 6.5% compared to the previous week.

In that sense, the Premium Gasoline will remain at RD$293.60 and the Regular Gasoline continues at RD$274.50.

Meanwhile, the Regular Diesel will continue at RD$221.60 and the Optimum Diesel will continue at RD$241.10 per gallon.

Also, the Petroleum liquid gas (LPG) remains at RD$147.60 per gallon and the Natural gas maintains its price at RD$28.97 per m3.

He too Fuel Oil will be quoted at RD$192.11 per gallon and the Fuel Oil 1% at RD$211.77.


However, for that same week there will be a variation of up to 12.70 pesos in the price of kerosene and RD$12.38 in the Avtur.

That is, the Avtur will be sold to RD$276.78 and the kerosene in RD$313.40.
