Onguito Wa admits to the Prosecutor’s Office that he does not have a driver’s license

Santo Domingo.-The urban music singer Elvis Manuel Santos Alcántara, better known as “Onguito Wa” was summoned this Thursday to the National District Traffic Prosecutor’s Office to be questioned about a traffic accident in which he was involved on August 29. October where a man of Haitian nationality was killed.

Onguito Wa went to the Driver’s House this morning with his lawyer.

“Every time the prosecutor’s office or the Attorney General’s Office summons me, I’m going to go,” said the singer.

When leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, in conversation with the press “Ongito Wa” said that he does not have a driver’s license. This only has the “learning card”.

Subsequently, the singer went to the Police Palace voluntarily where he was detained for a few hours. During the interrogation, he claimed that it was someone else he was driving.

Later, the artist was released because, according to the National Police, he had the traffic survey report made at the Driver’s House, which indicated that it was another person who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.

On the day of the accident, “Onguito Wa” was traveling in a black Mercedes Benz Jeep, license plate G579341, which collided head-on with the motorcycle on which the victim was traveling. The event occurred around 4:00 in the morning on Duarte Avenue with París, in the National District.

Last June Onguito was involved in another accident where he ran over two people in the Villa María sector of the Capital.
