The National Emergency Office (Onemi) declared a Preventive Early Warning for 10 communes in the Metropolitan region, due to the forecast of rainfall for this week.
According to the Meteorological Directorate of Chile (DMC) rainfall is forecast for the foothills and mountain range sectors of the Metropolitan region, based on this information is that Onemi decided to take the measure.
The rains should happen between this Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22.
The Preventive Early Warning is already underway and affects the districts of Colina, Vitacura, Las Condes, La Reina, Lo Barnechea, Peñalolén, La Florida, Puente Alto, San José de Maipo and Pirque.
