In the last few hours, authorities confirmed that one of the organizers of the Jamming Festival in Ibagué, Tolima, is in police custody.

This is Luis Casallas, father of businessman Alejandro Casallas, promoter of the failed festival that expected more than 100 artists and some 100,000 national and international visitors.

According to El Tiempo, Casallas is in one of the rooms of the Playa Hawai vacation complex, a site that had been arranged for the holding of that event.

Faced with this situation, the Secretary of Government of Ibagué, Óscar Berbeo, was the one who confirmed the news.

“One of the organizers is in police custody at Playa Hawaii,” he said.

What has been established is that Luis Casallas would be the right hand of his son, who would have received the order to remain in Playa Hawai and not leave the city until the authorities delve into this research.

However, they clarified that Luis is not directly responsible for the Jamming.

On the other hand, it was known that the cancellation of the event would reach 75,000,000 million pesos in losses.
