According to preliminary reports, Franklin Delgadillo, 22 years old, died on Saturday night in the town of San Antonio de Guarayos, in the midst of a conflict over land with suspected interculturalists.

The victim’s father, Ricardo Delgadillo, denounced that the death occurred due to a firearm shot in the vicinity of a property called La Colombiana, located 100 kilometers from Ascensión de Guarayos, on the road to Trinidad.

As a result of this death, local community members blocked the main road that leads to Santa Cruz to demand that the authorities arrive at the scene to investigate the case.

At 3:00 p.m., the mobilized decreed a pause in the protest so that the stopped vehicles reach their destination and then resume the blockade indefinitely, reported Radio and TV La Misión Guarayos.

Until 4:00 p.m. this Sunday, the remains of the victim were veiled at his home, on a table.

The family asks the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office to find those responsible for the young man’s death.
