OAS General Assembly will have its closing ceremony today Friday at 7 pm

The 52nd General Assembly of the (OAS) will conclude this Friday, October 7 after three days of sessions and with a ceremony in which representatives of this international institution and Peruvian authorities will participate.

The official agenda for the third and last day of the session details that the third meeting of the general committee will take place at 10 am, and the third plenary session will take place at 10:30 am.

Subsequently, at 5 pm, the fourth and last plenary session will be held where issues related to the Malvinas Islands, the elections of OAS authorities, the presentation of the head of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Inter-American Juridical Committee and the Inter-American Commission of Women.

At the conclusion of these presentations at 7 pm, the closing session will begin by the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro; and the Peruvian foreign minister, César Landa.

At 7:30 pm, it was reported that a press conference will be held where the Peruvian authorities and international representatives will attend to the media.

The three days of the 52nd General Assembly of the OAS were held throughout various sessions at the Lima Convention Center, in the district of San Borja.
