The plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies will have an extra session today at 11:00 a.m., in order to discuss the 2023 Budget approved and inflated in Senators. Before, the Commission chaired by Arnaldo Samaniego will rule on the modifications made in the Upper House.
At 8:00 in the morning, the meeting of the Budget Committee in the Chamber of Deputies is announced, where they will evaluate and they will issue opinions on the modifications and extensions made last week in the Chamber of Senators.
For a total of G. 105.3 billion, the General Expenditure Plan 2023 was approved in said instance. According to the Ministry of Finance, the difference with the initial numbers is 25 million dollars.

Minister Óscar Llamosas warned that This disproportionate increase will affect investment funds in Capital, which will suffer a decrease, while current expenses will increase.
Yes ok the opinions of the commissions are not binding, that is, there is no obligation for the plenary session to vote in the same sense, they do represent a reference about which position to assume.

At 11:00 a.m., the extra session will begin, which will have the 2023 Budget as the only point of the day. If ratified in its initial version, the Chamber of Deputies will return the project to the Senate, however, accepting the changes made in the Upper House, the project will be sanctioned.
After this session is over, another extraordinary one is expected with 25 points on the agenda, taking into account that this Wednesday, the usual day of the ordinary, is a national holiday for the day of the Virgin of Caacupé.
