Ten months after being evicted, students from the Raúl Isidro Burgos Rural Normal School in Ayotzinapa took control of the Palo Blanco toll booth, despite being under the protection of the National Guard. They held a rally and distributed flyers to motorists, hours before the 11th anniversary of the murder, supposedly at the hands of ministerial police, of their colleagues Gabriel Echeverría de Jesús and Jorge Alexis Herrera Pino, on the Autopista del Sol.
