Nicolás Viera presents his team for the Municipality of Colonia

As a candidate for the mayor of Colonia for the Frente Amplio (MPP), the deputy and elected senator, Nicolás Viera, has just presented this Tuesday the 21st who is accompanying him as substitutes.

The first substitute is Liliana Chevalier (Colonia del Sacramento); the second Ariel Beltrán (Colonia del Sacramento; third Celia Vence (Carmelo) and fourth Darío Brugman (Juan Lacaze).

Those proposed by Viera will be presented to the “departmental plenary session and we will put it up for consideration by the departmental convention in the coming weeks,” the candidate reports via Instagram. He closes by clarifying: “This is just part of the team with which we are going to win the Municipality of Colonia!”

1- Liliana Chevalier – “Teacher in Primary and UTU, linked to tourism from an academic and institutional perspective, former councilor and substitute deputy, former member of the CEH (Honorary Executive Council) who intervenes in property matters. Militant of the Frente Amplio since always.”

2- Ariel Beltran – “40 years in the Pit Cnt union movement, 25 years president of Aebu Colonia and former member of the Official Banking Council. Former member of Inefop for 20 years representing workers. Former member of Aebu of the Cinterfort-ILO. Recently retired from banking, candidate for mayor in 2020, current mayor of the FA 2020 – 2025.”

3- Celia Vence – “Carmelo, employed in the footwear industry until she joined the BPS. He was a member of the Workers’ Team on the BPS Board of Directors from 2005 to 2021.
