Nicolás Maduro moves to advance towards the communal State with reform of seven laws

Maduro assured that this is not just a “reform” to a set of laws, but a process to transfer capacities to popular power, for which reason public policies must be reformed to achieve this goal. “If we continue to act as we have been acting, we will see each other next year to pray the rosary.” He recognized that the lack of financing and credit support for projects corresponds in large part to the national bank. “Attention, president of the Bank of Venezuela, get your batteries with the financing to the communal power”

Nicolas Maduro it persists in attempts to reform laws towards the recognition of a communal State, which includes communes, communal councils and other power structures that are not included in the current Constitution.

“The year 2023 has to be a year of expansion and consolidation of communal power in light of the changes, of the revolution within the revolution, in light of the necessary renewal,” said the president.

He called for this process to “start strong and then fail. We need to look for results, early and permanent victories. We need to bring public opinion into these debates.”

Jorge Rodríguez said that there is a special commission of the National Assembly, chaired by Blanca Eckhout, and made up of parliamentarians Rodolfo Crespo, Nancy Ascencio, Ricardo Molina, Julio Chávez and Juan Carlos Alemán.

“The National Assembly is ready to make all the necessary reforms before the end of this year 2022,” said the deputy.

«In the year 2023 we are going with a rocket for growth, recovery, especially social, we are going to recover the wounds of the economic war and the sanctions (…) We cannot allow a capricious egocentric model to emerge by leaders who want to impose it, and there leaders who want to impose it. We must prevent them from reaching a mayoralty, a governorship. We must prevent it from even reaching the Presidency,” Maduro said in his speech.
