New vaccination day on the esplanade

The Municipality of Montevideo announced that today, Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a new vaccination day will be held on the esplanade of the building, located at Av. 18 de Julio 1360.

The activity will be carried out without the need for an agenda through a mobile unit of the Honorary Commission for the Fight against Tuberculosis.

People who attend the communal esplanade at the established time with an identity card or passport may request free immunization against the flu, Covid-19 or other diseases included in the general vaccination scheme.

In the case of vaccination against Covid-19, it will be applied both to people over 12 years of age and to girls and boys from 5 to 11 years of age (the Pfizer pediatric dose will be supplied to them).

This is the second day with these characteristics.

Outside these instances, the Intendancy recalled that citizens can access doses of the general and anti-flu scheme in the departmental polyclinics.
