Amid concerns about rising inflation and food prices in Chile, the arrival of a new chain of supermarketsfocused on saving for consumers, is seen as great news for thousands of households across the country.
This is “Ahorra Supermarket”, a company that plans to open its first store at the end of August and then expand in several communes throughout the Metropolitan Region and other regions of the country. The concept behind “Ahorra Supermarket” is based on the installation of a chain of mini supermarkets with a clear focus on wholesale.
Its objective will be to serve small businesses and families, offering a wide variety of products, from groceries and mass consumption foods, to pastry options, Japanese food and snacks. The communes selected for the opening of the first stores will be La Florida, Santiago and Maipú.
These places have been strategically chosen to provide accessibility and coverage to different areas of the Metropolitan Region. However, the ambition of “Ahorra Supermarket” does not stop there. Its expansion plan contemplates reaching the figure of 20 stores in the Metropolitan Region and, by the year 2024, establishing six supermarkets outside the Santiago area.
The proposal of this Supermarket promises to be an attractive option for those looking to save on their daily purchases without sacrificing quality or variety of products. The offer aimed especially at small businesses and families will allow them to purchase the necessary products at more competitive prices, which will help alleviate the economic impact faced by many households in the country.
