A new shipment with a total of 100,620 doses of the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals vaccine against COVID-19 arrived in Panama this Tuesday, December 21.
With these new doses, the Ministry of Health plans to continue with the PanavaC-19 vaccination operation.
To date, a total of 6,177,885 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied to date in Panama.
According to data from the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI), of that total 3,118,260 have been applied in the first dose; 2,799,649 second; 252,810 booster doses and 7,166 third doses.
In addition, the coverage of the target population, which is from 12 years of age, is 90.3% with the first dose and 81.1% with the second dose.
