This Tuesday morning, in the vicinity of the Obelisk, in the City of Buenos Aires, a new day of protests will be held, called by different Social Organizations.
The movements They will mobilize in rejection of the cut in the budget of the Buenos Aires government destined for the social emergency and assistance to popular neighborhoods, according to what was denounced by the Social Organizations.
Under that context, the Social Organizations They warned that “In the City of Buenos Aires, poverty and inequality do not stop growing and four out of 10 porteños living south of Rivadavia Avenue are poor”.
For this reason, through a statement, the different movements rejected the management of the Head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who with his decision turns “his back on the more than 300,000 people who live in popular neighborhoods.”
Consequently, the organizations focus their claims on three axes: social parity for cooperatives that have agreements with the Government; the creation of the Popular Economy District and the implementation of a Comprehensive Care System.
In this regard, the Ministry of Human Development of the City of Buenos Aires, stated in a dialogue with the Uncover that the movements had not officially made such a claim.

Picketers and Government will meet this Wednesday
Parallel to the demands of different social organizations, this Wednesday, the Piquetera Unit will hold a meeting with the Minister of Social Development Juan Zabaleta, to demand the extension of social plans.
In this regard, the leader of the Polo Obrero, Eduardo Belliboni warned that, if an agreement is not reached, they will hold a camp starting Thursday in various parts of the country.
