During the early hours of this Saturday there was a new incendiary attack in the region of La Araucanía that left three machines destroyed by fire.
The event occurred at the El Canelo farm, near Cunco, in the province of Cautín. According to witnesses, around 03:00 AM, six hooded individuals arrived at the scene and set fire to two cranes and a truck.
As reported by the police captain of the Cunco sub-station, Raimundo Barrios, apart from the machines affected, there were no other species consumed by the flames. No injuries were reported either.
In addition, a canvas was found in the place with the phrases “out of the Walmapu forests” and “free the Mapuche political prisoners” (PPM) of the CAM.
