Nestlé and UCE support future veterinarians

Nestlé y UCE apoyan futuros veterinarios

They will train professionals of excellence who will contribute to the development of the Dominican community

Nestlé Purina and the Central University of the East (UCE) signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of contributing to the professional training of future veterinary doctors in the country.

This alliance represents the second time that Nestlé Purina® establishes a collaboration with a university that teaches Veterinary Medicine, thus reaffirming its commitment to young Dominicans.

Through this association, the aim is to promote training in animal nutrition, which is essential to improve the quality of life of pets and promote their physical and mental well-being, essential aspects in the relationship with their caregivers.

Dr. Vera Troncoso, veterinary doctor and coordinator of the Nestlé Purina® team of veterinarians for the Latin Caribbean Region, highlighted the importance of this collaboration and the support to the Universidad Central del Este in its work of training excellent professionals who will contribute to the development of the Dominican community.

This agreement will benefit students by allowing them to gain skills and knowledge in pet nutrition”. said.
